The Conference Board of Canada is pleased to announce that this year's Honorary Associate Award is being presented to The Honourable Paul M. Tellier, P.C., C.C., - Business leader, civil servant, humanitarian, and lightening rod for change.

The Honorary Associate Award is the Conference Board's highest honour and is conferred annually upon individuals who have served both their organization and their country with distinction during their working career.

Paul Tellier is best known for his transformation of CN, turning it into one of the most efficient rail systems on the continent, and for his role as Clerk of the Privy Council in Ottawa and Secretary to the Cabinet, the top public servant position in the country.

Today, Paul co-chairs the Prime Minister's Advisory Committee on the Public Service, is the Chair of the Board of Global Container Terminals Inc., and is a Director on the Boards of several top Canadian organizations.
