PepsiCo South America Foods' (SAF) new Incident-Free Environment Reward Program has begun to deliver strong results -- 17 SAF plants (63 percent of all plants in the region) were awarded the bronze trophy for 90 incident-free days.
The trophy, recognizing leaders in occupational safety, was given to plants across Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Each winning factory will be presented the award by a member of the PepsiCo South America, Caribbean and Central America Foods Environmental and Health Safety Committee, and will then go on to the next stage of the program, the silver category.
