Social Media have dramatically increased connectivity in our society. The "information age" has transformed into the "relationship age", making transparency and trust more publicly visible than ever. Engaging prospective employees through social media also requires a willingness to increase public disclosure.
Mike Jackson will discuss the merits of social media for recruiting, including more engaged candidates with a better understanding of the organization's cultures and values. He'll also describe how these engaged candidates can attract other like-minded candidates, shortening the recruitment lifecycle, increasing effectiveness, and reducing costs.
