As part of this commitment, Kellogg is pleased to announce the launch of the company’s 2011 Corporate Responsibility Report, available at

The report reviews progress in four key areas: Marketplace, Workplace, Environment and Community. It also highlights two new spotlight stories – Sustainable Agriculture and the Benefits of Breakfast – that cut across multiple areas of the company’s Corporate Responsibility strategy.
Some highlights of the company’s progress this year include:
• Intensified approach to sustainable agriculture to become a leading supporter of those who research, grow and supply the grains the company uses, including a partnership with Louisiana State University.
• Shifting to sustainably grown palm oil in Europe. In other markets where neither a segregated nor mass balance supply are fully available, Kellogg help growers fund the transition to sustainably grown palm oil by purchasing Green Palm certificates to cover 100% of the company’s current palm oil use in 2012.
• Contributed more than $38 million in cash and products to organizations around the globe in 2011, with a focus on breakfast and hunger-relief programs.
• Provided breakfast for millions of schoolchildren in need by supporting and helping launch breakfast clubs around the globe in areas where government-sponsored school breakfast programs don’t exist.
In addition, Kellogg is reporting at a GRI-checked application level of “B.”
Kellogg Company invites stakeholders to share comments and feedback on its report at Kellogg will make a one-time $5 donation to The Global FoodBanking Network (up to $10,000) for every person who sends feedback in 2012 on its Corporate Responsibility Report
