(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) November 16, 2011 - This week National Australia Bank (NAB) released its 2011 Annual Review – an integrated report providing information about the strategy, governance, financial and corporate responsibility (CR) performance, across NAB Group businesses for the 2011 financial year.

This is NAB’s second year publishing an integrated report, which is supplemented by a series of Dig Deeper papers, which provide a broader suite of data for performance in NAB’s five CR focus areas of Customer, People, Community, Environment and Supply-chain.

Highlights for 2011 include:

- Marking two years of delivering against the Fair Value Strategy.
- Welcoming 450,000 new customers since the ‘Break Up’ and ‘Unpopular’ campaigns launched this year.
- Contributing $72.2 million to the community.
- Delivering the largest improvement in Personal Banking customer satisfaction, compared to other major Australian banks, for the second year running.
- Awarded ‘Best Career Development Program’ in the 2011 Australian Banking and Finance Award for the Academy, NAB’s learning and development centre.
- Publishing its third Reconciliation Action Plan, setting out 22 commitments for the year ahead.

The report content is guided again this year by the Global Reporting Initiative (G3) guidelines and limited assurance was carried out by Ernst & Young.
