As the world increasingly investigates business sustainability actions related topics like climate change, consumer trends indicate that purchasers want to see more transparent and credible information on what companies are actually doing.  This has many lead-edge companies reevaluating sales metrics, service levels, and what is ultimately driving consumer loyalty.  

Looking at the data, recent studies show that 70% of consumers do not feel confident that they can clearly identify which companies are environmentally responsible. Six in ten consumers (59%) are skeptical about the environmental claims companies make, and 44% of consumers would like more information on what companies are actually doing to be environmentally responsible. 
 
So: How can a company in today’s business environment communicate to build and sustain consumer loyalty?
