2016 Sodexo Future Chefs Competition - Featured Chef Isabelle Sarkody

As part of Sodexo’s 2016 Sodexo Future Chefs: Healthy Breakfast Challenge each day this week, we are going to feature one of the 5 national finalists. Our first finalist Isabelle Sarkody hails from Woodhaven, Michigan. Isabelle is in the second grade at Yake Elementary School. Her featured recipe is entitled “Egg-celent Breakfast Cupcakes with Yake Yogurt Bites and Gator Green Smoothie” When asked to describe her recipe Isabelle stated “There are 3 different things that are part of my healthy breakfast.  Some of the ingredients are eggs, yogurt, ham, cheese, mushroom, whole grains, pineapple, spinach, avocado.  Just about everything you need to start a healthy day.”  She said she  wanted  to create something healthy that had a lot of the bonus ingredients.  Now doesn’t that sound delicious?
