Orlando, FLA., October 25, 2016 /3BL Media/ – ACCP announced that ACCP: The Conference 2017 will convene corporate responsibility executives in San Antonio, TX on March 12 through March 15. This annual meeting will bring corporate responsibility executives together for what is referred to as the premier conference in the U.S. for professionals in corporate citizenship, corporate social responsibility, community relations, employee engagement, and volunteerism.

This year’s theme, The Business of Corporate Responsibility, reflects a growing trend in Corporate Citizenship. The Conference will set out to answer the questions executives struggle with every day: How do you secure the buy-in necessary to be successful? How do you create value for your company? How do you achieve maximum results with the resources you have? How do you craft a strategy that is aligned to your company’s core? How do you explain your work to internal and external audiences?

To address these questions and more, ACCP: The Conference 2017 will focus on The Business of Corporate Responsibility. The Conference will explore the ‘how’ of working across your organization and the ‘how’ of linking what you do to your company’s core reason for being.

ACCP: The Conference 2017 will focus on:

  • Mechanics – how can you do what you do better to achieve more business and societal impact
  • Communication – how do you communicate what you do and more importantly, the value of your work
  • Prioritization – how do you take on new responsibilities while continuing existing initiative

“There is a need for corporate responsibility executives to understand and be able to effectively articulate how the very important work that they do positively impacts society and their companies,” said Mark W. Shamley, President and CEO of ACCP. “The goal for The Conference is to have our attendees come away energized, enlightened, and enthused to continue their work to improve society and help their companies prosper.”

ACCP: The Conference is only open to those employed in a corporate responsibility capacity to ensure that participants can have candid conversations among peers. Over the course of 3 ½ days, these executives will have the opportunity to learn from industry luminaries and renowned speakers as they network with hundreds of corporate responsibility professionals.

“ACCP: The Conference is an annual must-attend,” said Tracy Underwood, National Manager, Corporate Contributions for Toyota. “The Conference offers insightful, relevant and actionable content and connects me to my peers. The Conference allows us to share our experiences with our peers as we learn together and from each other. It is unique in its ability to create an environment where you learn not just from the stage, but from the people in the audience.”

Executives from more than 70 companies have already registered. Space is very limited. You can learn more about ACCP: The Conference 2017 here.
