Faced with the challenge of cleaning up one of Canada's largest contaminated industrial sites, the Sydney Tar Ponds Agency turned to AECOM to develop a design strategy to support the agency’s vision of delivering the CA$400-million (US$393-million) project into a public park based on the principles of sustainable remediation.
