AECOM's Megan Aspinall (holding clipboard), renewable energy engineer, conducts a workshop with Pollinate Energy customers.

As part of the second AECOM group to participate in Pollinate Energy’s Young Professionals Program, Megan Aspinall, renewable energy engineer, traveled to India with two other colleagues to help the non-profit work toward its goal to eradicate energy poverty in India.

When describing the program's progress, Aspinall said, "Pollinate has sold more than 3,000 solar lights in Bangalore and reached approximately 470 urban communities, giving the thriving social business confidence in its plans to expand its operations to other cities in India later this year."

Check out "What's your special sauce?" in AECOM's Connected Cities blog to learn more about Aspinall's experience.
