AMD Publishes 19th Corporate Responsibility Report

June 12, 2014 /3BL Media/ - The last few years have been a period of transformation and resurgence for AMD. Throughout this time, AMD has not only maintained but has strengthened its commitment to corporate responsibility. AMD’s latest Corporate Responsibility Report outlines the company’s performance in areas such as employee engagement, environmental stewardship and human rights.   

Some of the corporate responsibility highlights from 2013/2014 include:

• AMD was named to CR Magazine’s Top 100 Best Corporate Citizens List in 2013 and 2014
   
• For the 12^th consecutive year, AMD was included on one or more of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes.
   
• AMD was added to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) “Green Power Leadership Club” in 2013 and was ranked 12^th in Top 30 Tech and Telecom List, and 30^th in Fortune 500® Partners List
   
• AMD was elected for a second term to chair the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC). This is a coalition of 95 member companies focused on improving labor and environmental issues throughout the global electronics supply chain
   
• AMD made significant progress on ensuring conflict minerals in their supply chains are “conflict free” and ranked 5^th overall in The Enough Project Conflict Minerals Company Rankings for their efforts
   
• Our employees continue to give corporate responsibility top grades: This topic was tied for the second highest most favorable item in AMD’s 2013 employee survey results
   
• We were represented in the Top 10 CSR Pros to follow in 2013 and the Top 46 Sustainability Influencers in 2014
