Amanda MacArthur of PYXERA Global to Address Global Leadership Development with Corporate Leaders from IBM, EY, and Pfizer at Boston University School of Management Executive Development Roundtable

Washington, D.C., November 10, 2014, /3BL Media/ – On November 13, 2014, Amanda MacArthur, Vice President of Global Pro Bono and Engagement at PYXERA Global will share her experience facilitating global business leadership development through global pro bono at the Boston University School of Management Executive Development Roundtable in Boston, Massachusetts.

In a session entitled, How Leading Companies Develop Next Generation Leaders Through Global Pro Bono Service, MacArthur will speak alongside fellow global pro bono leaders:

·         Harris Ginsberg, VP, Executive Leadership & Talent Development, Pfizer

·         Cathleen Finn, New England Manager, Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs, IBM

·         Paco Garcia, Senior Manager, EY, Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services

Organizational psychologist and faculty member at the Boston College Leadership for Change Program, Philip Mirvis, will moderate this session.

MacArthur will reveal findings from PYXERA Global’s recently published Corporate Global Pro Bono: State of the Practice report, an annual benchmarking survey of the global pro bono practice.  The report illuminates how immersive global pro bono programs are quickly emerging as the new model for corporate leadership development due to their ability to engage employees in new cultures and communities abroad while building leadership skills and strengthening employee-company relationships.
