Andrew Winston, Author of The Big Pivot and Green to Gold, Joins Ingersoll Rand Advisory Council on Sustainability

DAVIDSON, N.C., October 12, 2017 /3BL Media/ - The Advisory Council on Sustainability of Ingersoll-Rand plc, a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments, appointed Andrew Winston as a member of the Council, effective immediately.

Winston is a globally recognized speaker and writer on business strategies, and how companies can navigate and profit from humanity’s biggest challenges. He is the author of a new book The Big Pivot and co-wrote the international bestseller Green to Gold.

“Andrew Winston’s appointment to our Advisory Council on Sustainability further strengthens Ingersoll Rand’s efforts in integrating sustainability into the fabric of the company and pursuing thought leadership initiatives,” said W. Winston’s work is based on significant business experience and education. His earlier career included advising companies on corporate strategy while at Boston Consulting Group and management positions in strategy and marketing at Time Warner and MTV. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton, an MBA from Columbia and a Masters of Environmental Management from Yale.
