AEG Concludes Annual Season of Giving with Community Holiday Party for More than 700 Children and Families in Los Angeles
AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, concluded its Season of Giving, the company’s annual holiday initiative that encourages its employees to engage in charitable activities in their local communities, with a community holiday party near the company’s global headquarters in Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE and the Los Angeles Convention Center on December 18, 2018.

AEG Ogden’s Suncorp Stadium to Host Christmas Lunch for Homeless and Brisbane Community
AEG Ogden’s Suncorp Stadium in Queensland is joining in the festive spirit this year by hosting lunch on Christmas Day in conjunction with Communify, a local Queensland organization helping deliver a diverse range of services in the community, and a number of corporate partners, to feed more than 100 disadvantaged, homeless and those living without relatives or living in emergency accommodation. The event will take place in Suncorp Stadium’s Paddington Room.

AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, today announced that Playworks, a national nonprofit that supports learning and physical health by providing safe and inclusive play to low-income students in urban schools, has been granted an additional $25,000 from the AEG Community Foundation as the winner of the #SpreadCheer Challenge.

This Thanksgiving, more than 1,200 local residents - including 300 U.S. military veterans and their families - along with 900 members of the Pico Union community - will be served a FREE traditional Thanksgiving meal by AEG community volunteers.

In recognition of National Philanthropy Day and celebrating the start of its annual Season of Giving, AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, has launched the #Spread Cheer Challenge, an online digital campaign that will provide four AEG Community Foundation grant recipients -- America Scores, Los Angeles Brotherhood Crusade, Make-A-Wish Hawaii and Playworks -- with an opportunity to earn an additional $25,000 grant from the AEG Community Foundation.

LA Kings Host Halloween Party at Ronald McDonald House
AEG’s LA Kings and Blue Shield of California teamed up to host a Halloween Party at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House on Tuesday, October 30. Throughout the afternoon, volunteers from the Kings and Blue Shield of California – including LA Kings center Nate Thompson and his wife Sydney – prepared and distributed gift bags, decorated cookies with guests, led Halloween-themed arts and crafts and played a lively game of ball hockey.
