AEG Concludes Annual Season of Giving with Community Holiday Party
AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, concluded its Season of Giving, the company’s annual holiday initiative that encourages its employees throughout the world to engage in charitable activities in their local communities, with a community holiday party near the company’s global headquarters in Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE and the Los Angeles Convention Center.

More than 500 residents of the nearby Pico-Union district along with various Los Angeles County-based nonprofit organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, several neighborhood Boys & Girls Clubs and others, enjoyed free ice skating at LA Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE, a full dinner service, holiday crafts and games in addition to photos with Santa Claus.

LA Kings to Host Firefighter Appreciation Night at STAPLES Center
AEG’s LA Kings will host its annual Firefighter Appreciation Night on Jan. 6 at STAPLES Center as the Kings take on the Nashville Predators. A cornerstone of the team’s community outreach, the Kings Care Foundation will donate tickets to local organizations that serve firefighters and their families in addition to encouraging LA Kings season ticket members to donate money toward a fund to provide free tickets to local firefighters.

AEG and City Year Team Up to Improve Nevin Avenue Elementary in South Los Angeles
In celebration of AEG’s Season of Giving, more than 300 AEG employees from Southern California came together to participate in the company’s annual Service Day on Dec. 8 at Nevin Avenue Elementary School in South Los Angeles.

Chargers Running Back Melvin Gordon and Rally Health Team Up with AEG to Host a "Holiday Bike Build" for Youth from the Boys & Girls Club of Carson at StubHub Center
Rally Health and Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon teamed up with AEG to host a "Holiday Bike Build" at AEG’s StubHub Center on Dec. 5 for 150 kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Carson. Among the event's many activities, the kids were joined by Gordon and pro-riders from Rally CyclingSM in building and decorating brand new Diamondback bikes that they got to take home following a ride around the StubHub Center concourse and hot meal provided by AEG and StubHub Center.

Throughout November, AEG and its affiliates have teamed up with various nonprofit organizations to provide more than 2,000 Thanksgiving meals throughout the Los Angeles community as part of AEG’s Season of Giving, a company initiative that encourages AEG employees to engage in charitable activities and to HOPE. AEG Kicks Off Annual Season of Giving
In celebration of National Philanthropy Day, AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, announced its plans for its annual Season of Giving, the company’s initiative that encourages its employees throughout the world to engage in charitable activities in their local communities to HOPE. ACT. GIVE. During the initiative throughout November and December, AEG focuses its philanthropic efforts to raise funds and generate awareness for nonprofit organizations working on substantive issues related to hunger, homelessness, healthcare and education.

LA Kings Team Up with Blue Shield of California to Launch G.O.A.L.S. Program for Children in Los Angeles
AEG’s LA Kings and Blue Shield of California teamed up with Grades of Green to celebrate the official launch of G.O.A.L.S, a digital platform that helps equip children in Los Angeles with resources to be eco-friendly, inclusive, healthy, socially responsible and knowledgeable, yesterday at St. Anthony Parish School in Long Beach, Calif.

Students at St. Anthony spent the morning reviewing how to properly sort waste before getting first access to the LA Kings and Blue Shield of California G.O.A.L.S platform and playing trash sorting hockey games with LA Kings forward Kyle Clifford as well as Bailey, the club’s mascot, and members of the LA Kings Ice Crew.

LA Galaxy Foundation and LA Food Bank Team Up to Feed Los Angeles
AEG’s LA Galaxy Foundation joined the fight against hunger and food insecurity in Los Angeles through weeklong support of Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Throughout the week of Oct. 9, LA Galaxy staff members and fans collected more than 700 pounds of food and prepared and distributed nearly 4,000 meals to children, families, seniors and individuals in need throughout the Los Angeles area.
