CITGO and Bess the Book Bus Help Advance Literacy and Change Lives for Children

CITGO sponsors Bess the Book Bus, a national mobile literacy outreach program dedicated to making books available to underprivileged and underserved children and families in the United States. Jennifer Frances, the founder of Bess the Book Bus, drives her bus across the country to visit schools, community centers, shelters, and after-school programs. Since its founding in 2002, Bess the Book Bus serves more than 25,000 children and gives away more than 50,000 books in dozens of states across the USA each year.
