Making Events More Sustainable: Cleaner & Greener® Program

The Cleaner and Greener® event sustainability program provides a way for conferences and other events to reduce their negative environmental impact and communicate their environmental commitment. This program works with event organizers and exhibit halls to quantify, reduce, and offset emissions caused by travel, event space energy use, lodging, and meals. Events are certified Cleaner and Greener® by the nonprofit Leonardo Academy and recognized for the level of emission reductions and offsets achieved.
