Hormel Foods is known for its long tradition of supporting our troops, both in peacetime and war. This support continues today through the company’s products used to feed our active-duty servicemen and women, as well as providing career opportunities for veterans as they transition from active-duty service to the next phase of their lives as civilians.

Bringing Home Cooked to the House
On March 30, the Hormel® Cure 81® brand and members of the Hormel Military Veterans Engagement Team (HMVET) donated care packages full of Hormel Foods products to the Minneapolis Fisher House Foundation to feed military families for the Easter holiday.

Hormel Foods Partners with Operation Gratitude to Send 52,000 Letters to Troops
Hormel Foods Corporation announced that it has partnered with Operation Gratitude and set a goal to send 52,000 letters of thanks to active duty service members overseas.

Through its sponsorship with the Super Bowl Host Committee, Hormel Foods is using its activation space at Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon to have attendees write letters of appreciation to deployed troops. The thank you letters will accompany 52,000 care packages sent to active duty service members by Operation Gratitude.

Hormel Foods Recognized with the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Proclamation
Hormel Foods announced today that it was recognized by the state of Minnesota with the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon proclamation. Minnesota Lt. Governor Tina Smith, Major General Jon Jensen, Adjutant General Minnesota National Guard, joined Jim Sheehan, senior vice president and chief financial officer at Hormel Foods, and hundreds of employees for the ceremony.
