Supporting Vibrant Communities

UTC enhances the well-being of the communities in which we operate because we believe positive engagement encourages​ growth and vitality and helps us to attract and retain the best employees.

American Cancer Society. In 2013, more than 100 UTC-affiliated teams in 22 states participated in Relay For Life. Since becoming a National Corporate Team Partner in 2009, UTC has raised more than $1.4 million for cancer research.

PEHAL. Named “The Initiative” in Hindi, UTC and United Way of Delhi launched a three-year community development program to improve the education, healthcare and living environment of more than 2,000 families of migrant laborers.

Special Olympics. For 37 years, UTC has served as the lead sponsor of the Connecticut Special Olympics Summer Games. Over that time, more than 20,000 UTC employees, families and friends have volunteered to support the games.

United Way. For more than half a century, UTC employees have been the backbone of United Way Community Campaigns. Our combined giving totals more than $100 million over the last two decades.
