Susquehanna Service Dogs

Susquehanna Service Dogs (SSD) raises, trains, and places service dogs with children and adults with disabilities to assist them to become more independent. Since 1993, SSD has placed over 260 service dogs in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. Each dog is individually trained based on the person’s unique needs. The dogs can be trained to open doors, pick up and retrieve objects, respond to a seizure, alert to a variety of sounds, support a person to balance, and more. Susquehanna Service Dogs is a program of Keystone Human Services and is fully accredited by Assistance Dogs International.
