Earning a social license to operate is not something that happens automatically, said PepsiCo’s Executive Vice President, Government Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Tony West during an interview with Ethisphere’s CEO Tim Erblich.  “If a company wants to be a long-term, sustainable company… you have to do things which bring value to the society in which you’re operating and that begins with an ethical culture,” West added.

Last year, PepsiCo reached a major milestone when the beverage and snack giant celebrated it’s 50th anniversary in the business and the company also maintained its spot on Ethisphere’s World’s Most Ethical Companies list for 10 consecutive years.
