Comcast NBCUniversal Honored as a Top Workplace for Diversity

We’re delighted to announce that Comcast NBCUniversal has once again been named one of the top companies in America for workforce diversity by Fortune and the Great Place to Work Institute, a global people analytics and consulting firm. Yesterday, the magazine published its prestigious “Best Workplaces for Diversity” list placing Comcast NBCUniversal #2 in the nation.

To remain among the top organizations for diversity in the country, following our #1 ranking in 2017, is a remarkable testament to the ongoing commitment our leaders throughout the company have to foster an inclusive culture — in our headquarters in New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia, and throughout the widespread divisions and regions of Comcast NBCUniversal.

At our company, we believe that diversity & inclusion is not just a program or initiative, but a part of our DNA. We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining the best talent from all backgrounds, and giving them paths to grow and develop their careers.

We are enormously proud of our company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, and our high ranking on this survey for the past two years, and on multiple other national surveys. We thrive on diversity—diversity of culture, talent, experiences, and thought, and stand for including everyone as it makes us a more innovative and better company.

Comcast NBCUniversal is the only company on Fortune’s “Best Workplaces for Diversity” list to remain in the top 5 the year after being named #1.

Our wide-reaching commitment to investing in diverse talent is what makes Comcast NBCUniversal such an incredible place to work, and a place where our employees can be who they are. Not only are more than 60% of our employees women or people of color, but also over half of our employees also report to a woman or a person of color. We invest in diverse recruitment initiatives, leadership development programs, Employee Resource Groups, and many more continuous efforts that reach all levels of our workforce.

This latest honor by Fortune comes shortly after we were ranked #3 on Fortune’s 2018 List of Best Workplaces for Parents – as well as multiple other national surveys that recognize and celebrate our commitment to be an inclusive workplace where our employees feel empowered and supported.
