“Meeting like-minded and caring individuals across our network not only creates relationships but makes me proud to work at JetBlue!

—Kevin Dong, Flight Ops Analyst, JetBlue

Solidarity is critical to the way we work. It not only feels great to support each other and to volunteer in the community, it also helps us to serve our customers better.

Our crewmember volunteer program, Community Connection, is powered by VolunteerMatch, an organization dedicated to connecting volunteers to causes they are most passionate about at over 100,000 nonprofit organizations. For every 50 hours of volunteer time logged – whether through a JetBlue organized event or their own independent volunteer activity – JetBlue donates two round-trip travel certificates to that crewmember’s chosen charity.

In 2016, JetBlue crewmembers volunteered more than 170,000 hours. That makes a total of nearly 600,000 hours of service since 2011.
