For the third straight year at Lincoln Financial Field, members of the print, digital, radio, and TV media played flag football at the home of the Philadelphia Eagles. NRG Home donated $1,000 to the charity of each player’s choice and an additional $5,000 to the charity of the person selected MVP. $30,000 in total was donated to nine separate nonprofits that serve the community in a variety of ways.

Four co-ed teams of six played two tournament style games, including a championship game. Each team was coached by a former Eagle. Harold Carmichael, Bill Bergey, Fred Barnett, and Mike Mamula did the honors. Participants posted highlights and photos using #NRGCharityGame, which became the second leading trending topic that day in Philadelphia.

Tony Abraham of Generocity.org won the MVP award.
