Middle Point Landfill in Nashville, TN recently hosted 25 students from Christiana Middle School to discuss how the landfill works, how the trucks work, and to learn more about recycling. The youth group received Frisbees and balls made of recycled material.

Several Middle Point Landfill staff members visited the Belmont Waverley Elementary School for Community Helpers Day. They spoke to approximately 280 students from grades kindergarten through fourth grade, and explained their jobs and why what do they at the landfill is so important. They also discussed how landfills help communities stay clean, talked about the importance of recycling, and handed out coloring books.
