NetSuite Software and Services Donations Help Joanne Pang Foundation Reach New …

When the Joanne Pang Foundation (JPF), an organization committed to increasing the number of umbilical cord blood units available for life saving transplants, wanted to better demonstrate its commitment to continually improving operations and services to its constituents, the foundation turned to NetSuite.org for help.

This was a perfect project for the SuiteVolunteers, a corps of NetSuite pro bono employee volunteers who work each quarter to help nonprofit and social enterprise grantees continually improve the use of their NetSuite software donations.

An existing MailChimp newsletter program was cumbersome since contact email addresses were managed through NetSuite. The foundation wanted to leverage NetSuite CRM for more efficient integration of marketing tasks and tracking but couldn’t create the HTML documents needed for their regular communications and newsletters.

Hasan and Raulito, the SuiteVolunteers assigned to partner with JPF, worked virtually across continents, donating their time and expertise to help the foundation organize their donor records for more targeted marketing campaigns, provided extra training on NetSuite’s CRM capabilities and created custom HTML templates to improve the look and feel of emails and newsletters.

The transition to more robust email marketing campaigns significantly reduced the costs associated with sending physical mail to their donors. “We love working with the volunteers who are so willing to help with our solutions to better serve our population.” said Sally Brien Holper, the President of JPF.

By expanding their knowledge of NetSuite, the organization was better able to communicate with donors, physicians and patients and actively track the progress of their cord blood collection program. The Foundation is now able to keep constituents updated on a quarterly basis using their newly created templates.

SuiteVolunteers is a benefit available to all NetSuite.org grantee customers. The Q2 Program is open for applications through April 10. For more information about SuiteVolunteers, or to apply for a donation visit www.netsuite.org.
