Pentair Celebrates Employee Volunteerism on National Philanthropy Day

A team of hard-pedaling Pentair bikers from Minnesota, U.S., participated in the Blue Cross Blue Shield stationary bike event. As victors, they earned a $2,500 grant for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.

In Ohio, U.S., more than 60 Pentair team members participated in a “Bike for a Tyke,” event with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland to build bicycles for children in need.

In Noido, India, Pentair employees celebrated World Environment Day, held June 5, by planting trees at Pentair facilities in Noida and Mumbai.

In Minnesota, U.S., Pentair employees participated in the Walk for Water for Water Mission, helping raise more than $100,000 to bring awareness and funding for access to clean water and sanitation in regions around the world.

In Herentals, Belgium, Pentair employees participated in an industrial zone litter removal initiative that brought together more than 350 volunteers from nearly 150 different companies.

In honor of National Philanthropy Day, November 15, Pentair celebrates its employees around the world that have rallied together as "Team Pentair" in 2017 to volunteer their time and talents to make a difference in their communities. As a leading global manufacturer, Pentair believes the passions and contributions of its 19,000 employees are important, and encourages and rewards employee-led involvement through Team Pentair, the company’s philanthropic engagement program.
