Phoenix Suns and Republic Services Recently Hosted “Recycling Night”

Fans received a Recycling Container Pen Holder courtesy of Republic Services and had the opportunity to win Suns tickets and autographed merchandise throughout the game

PHOENIX, March 22, 2016 /3BL Media/ – The Phoenix Suns and Republic Services recently hosted their 2nd Annual “Recycling Night” on Monday, March 21, when the Suns took on the Memphis Grizzlies. 

“As the Official Waste and Recycling Provider of the Phoenix Suns, Republic Services is committed to supporting our local community and showcasing the importance of recycling to fans. Our partnership with Talking Stick Resort and the Phoenix Suns supports our core sustainability and recycling goals. During this past year alone, we've assisted Talking Stick Resort in diverting 58 tons of trash from landfills,” said Chris Coyle, Republic Services general manager.

Republic Services provided Recycling Container Pen Holders to the first 3,000 fans in attendance. In addition, fans spotted recycling in Republic Services receptacles throughout the arena, by the Republic Services Recycling Rewards Crew, had the opportunity to win Suns tickets and autographed merchandise. 

Families were also encouraged to get an up-close experience with one of Republic Services’ collection trucks that was parked on the plaza before the game.
