Children of Sanofi US Employees create 30,000 Meals with STOP HUNGER NOW

On Thursday, April 24, 2014, Sanofi’s Annual “Take Our Children To Work Day” took place once again at 55 Corporate Drive, Bridgewater, NJ. The day included a variety of facilitated educational sessions on science, healthcare and the community to name a few.

The community aspect of the day was focused on employees and their children (ages 8-12) volunteering together. The activity that the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility team planned for the children and parents/guardians was in partnership with STOP HUNGER NOW (http://www.stophungernow.org/).  Over 300 children and their parents/guardians worked together over multiple sessions throughout the day. At the end of the day the hard work and collaboration created 30,000 meals for children in need.

In addition, employees with children over 12 years of age also volunteered to run the STOP HUNGER NOW event on that day. Various responsibilities included setting and cleaning up in between sessions to keep a safe and tidy work station for all!
