MONTREAL, September 30, 2013 /3BL Media/ – Activities with Corporate support related to Education exceed all other sectors of Community Investment, but a unique examination by this month's SPONSORIUM Report which measures corporate philanthropy, donations, grants and more, and is published monthly by SPONSORIUM International, the world’s leading Community Investment management software provider, goes deeper. From the Community Investment industry the September edition of the report takes a uncovers, among other trends, a projected 13% increase in corporate support surrounding Literacy-focused initiatives compared to those in Math and Science.

The SPONSORIUM Report publishes data and insights globally, as well as regionally for many countries including the United States, Europe, and Canada, to improve benchmarking ability in the Community Investment and Sponsorship industries.

In an effort to better serve companies, their agency partners and the groups they support, the Report’s recent move to a monthly format allows for more timely analysis and regular content for those benchmarking purposes.

Also highlighted in today’s Report for September is a breakdown by industry sectors (ie. Financial, Airline/Auto, Telcom/Utility) of how they support specific projects both in traditional Sponsorship and through Corporate Citizenship.

Experts from the field, either in Sponsorship and Marketing or Community Investment and Corporate Citizenship are often quoted in the Report to provide additional reaction to the data SPONSORIUM aggregates.

The September Edition of the Report is the first of this year to use data collected from the current year – nearly 35,000 opportunities and partnerships all taking place between January and June (2013), in 145 different countries. The data is collected from the PerforMind™ platform, which over 250 brands around the world rely on to track and evaluate their own Sponsorship, CSR and Community Investment activities.

The results presented are global, however SPONSORIUM has the ability to drill down to any market and industry (ie. Financial) upon request.

"The SPONSORIUM Report feeds the industry by aggregating what global companies are doing but have never had the opportunity to share and benchmark against. This is their data and it helps them as they to improve performance either through marketing or by socially impacting their communities.” said Paul Pednault, Founder and President of SPONSORIUM.

“September’s Report shares the most real-time data available on wide-scale. During the first half of this year we still needed to rely on data from the previous year, so it’s exciting to see where the industry is really heading, right now. It allows for more accurate projected analysis too, which is really helpful to brands,” said Seth Leeds, Editor of the SPONSORIUM Report.
