Cammie and Michael are 7-year-old twins who were placed in foster care at birth in 2010 and were adopted by their forever family in September of 2011.

They were soon joined by a sister. Desiree is 10 years old and after spending four years in foster care, was adopted into the same family as Cammie and Michael.

Today all three are thriving in their forever family.

These are the types of stories that the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is creating every day. Our signature program, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, provides funds to adoption agencies across the United States and Canada. The agencies use the funds to hire specially-trained adoption recruiters who sole focus is finding adoptive families for children who are most at risk of aging out care, this includes children over the age of 9, siblings and children with special needs or who have given up on being adopted.

Foster care adoption isn’t a fit for everyone, but supporting the work of our Foundation to dramatically increase the number of adoptions from foster care is. Support comes in all shapes and sizes and we’d love to welcome you into our Foundation family. Learn more at davethomasfoundation.org/donate
