Sigma-Aldrich® Named to CR Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens List

St. Louis, Mo., April 30, 2014 /3BL Media/ – Sigma-Aldrich Corporation (Nasdaq: SIAL) was recently named by Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine to its list of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens, which ranks public companies based on outstanding corporate responsibility performance in 2013.  Sigma-Aldrich ranked 28 on the list in its third appearance.

This is the 15th year for the 100 Best List, which documents nearly 300 data points of disclosure and performance measures - harvested from publicly available information in seven categories:  environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance, and philanthropy. The list ranks companies on the Russell 1000 Index and is governed by a Ratings and Rankings Committee of the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association (CROA).
