TCFD's Long-Awaited Report Revealed

After a year of intensive work, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) today laid out its eagerly-awaited recommendations designed to help standardise and mainstream considerations about the impacts of climate change on companies.

The TCFD – which was assembled by Mark Carney as chairman of the Financial Stability Board, and chaired by Michael Bloomberg with the help of 32 big-hitting executives from across the business community – aims to help integrate better understanding of the risks and opportunities presented by climate change into investment and insurance underwriting decisions.
