Tenke Fungurume Mining, a Freeport-McMoRan company, Wins Four Awards from Infrastructure Partnerships for African Development

IPAD (Infrastructure Partnerships for African Development) recently bestowed four awards on Tenke Fungurume Mining:

• Best Performer in Environmental Management
   
• Best Performer in Occupational Health & Safety
   
• Best Performer in Social Investment
   
• Lifetime Achievement Award for Claude Polet, TFM’s Managing Director – Legal and Government Relations

The awards were part of a launch of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Industry Awards to commemorate a decade of companies and individuals who have made a significant contribution to the mining sector in the DRC.
