On March 17, 2016, Tetra Tech launched its 50th Anniversary Global Clean Water Fund at the Engineers Without Borders (EWB) International Global Engineering Forum in Denver, Colorado. The grant program honors Tetra Tech’s 50-year history of leadership in the water sector and its commitment to EWB’s life-changing work helping communities in developing countries meet their basic human needs.

Through EWB-International, Tetra Tech will award up to 10 grants, totaling $50,000, to projects/programs that provide clean water for communities in need. Projects must be sponsored by an EWB organization and address an individual community’s challenges to obtain clean, safe drinking water.

“Tetra Tech is honored to commemorate its 50th Anniversary by supporting the projects that exemplify our focus on water,” said Shayne Smith, corporate sponsor of Tetra Tech’s EWB program, who announced the Global Clean Water Fund to the EWB-International audience. “Engineers Without Borders provides the structure, expertise, and community presence to help communities in need establish sustainable solutions to their specific water-related challenges.”

With a staff of 16,000 across six continents, Tetra Tech is the leading, global international development consulting firm, with activities in many of the countries where EWB has established operations.
