#2 Great Places to Work® Best Multinationals List

#3 Mars Opens Global Food Safety Center 

Convening governments, Associates and industry peers, Mars, Incorporated held the grand opening of the Global Food Safety Center in Huairou, China, on September 24, 2015. A pioneering $15 million facility, the Mars Global Food Safety Center aims to raise global food safety standards through pre-competitive research and training. 

#4 Cannes Lions Festival

Mars, Incorporated and its agencies picked up 19 awards at the annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity – a record for Mars. The International Festival of Creativity, known globally as Cannes Lions, is the world’s leading celebration of creativity in communications.

#5 Mars Achieves Zero Waste to Landfill in the U.S.

Mars Chocolate North America announced last week that all ten of its manufacturing facilities are now landfill-free, representing a significant milestone in achieving Mars’ goal of zero-waste-to-landfill by 2015.

#6 New Facilities Opened by Mars

Mars broke new ground in chocolate manufacturing with new facilities and commitments to sustainable practices.

#7 Mars Sugar Sustainability Update 

Mars, Incorporated sells delicious brands that bring joy to people all over the world. #8 Mars Named to the FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For® List 

Mars, Incorporated is proud to have been ranked 85th in the FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For® list, compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute, for the third consecutive year.

#9 Mars Partnership with IBM Research 

Scientists from IBM Research and Mars, Incorporated today established the “Consortium for Sequencing the Food Supply Chain,” a collaborative food safety platform that will leverage advances in genomics to further our understanding of what makes food safe.

#10 Launching the UC Davis Innovation Institute for Food and Health 

Mars, Incorporated, in partnership with UC Davis, is launching the Innovation Institute for Food and Health, part of the World Food Center at UC Davis, with a day-long symposium on January 14. Laureates and other leading scientists are set to discuss major challenges relating to improving global food security, sustainable agriculture and health for a growing world population.
