Angel More, 12, continues to train for her climb of Mount Aconcagua this December. She hopes to become the youngest girl to make it to the top of Mount Aconcagua while raising $100,000 for Children International’s youth programs.

Within the next week she plans to climb Mount Dana five times as part of her training. In the past several months she has also completed several open water swims, biked long distances, and hiked through the Grand Canyon.

Throughout her training, Angel has been working to bring awareness to the issue of children in poverty and encouraging her supporters to donate to Children International’s youth programs, which prepare youth to break out of poverty. The programs teach youth living in impoverished communities the skills they need to stay safe and healthy, complete school and job training, find gainful employment and become self-reliant, contributing members of society.
