CONTENT: Press Release

Hello, I’m Emily Polk and these are your CSR Minute headlines for Wednesday, January 13th:
Eastman Kodak has adopted Natralock, an eco-friendly packaging solution, as the package of choice for its C-182 digital camera. Natralock is made from sustainably-sourced paperboard with a clear plastic bubble. Natralock packaging uses 60 percent less plastic than petroleum-based PVC clamshells, and uses 65 percent less energy in production. Natralock is easily opened, preventing the “wrap rage” common to opening conventional clamshell packaging.
Leonardo Academy will present a seminar, “Implementing LEED in Your New and Existing Buildings,” at the Green Energy and Building Expo to be held next month at Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut. Speaker Michael Arny, President and founder of Leonardo Academy, is the former chair of the LEED for Existing Buildings Committee of the US Green Building Council when the USGBC’s LEED-EB rating system was developed. Leonardo Academy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing sustainability.
