Forbes Names Booz Allen Among Best Employers for New Graduates
With an unemployment rate of under 4 percent and more available jobs than at any time since 2000, top talent in the early stages of their careers have plenty of companies to choose from. In this tight labor market, Booz Allen ranked 36 in a Forbes list of Best Employers for New Graduates—ahead of names like Amazon, Apple, and Nike.

“At Booz Allen, new graduate hires and interns are building high-tech navigation systems for the blind, apps that predict flood levels, diagnostic tools to help communities fight opioid addiction, and more. We know that good ideas can come from anyone—it’s this diversity of thought that we celebrate and encourage in order to drive real innovative solutions for our clients,” said Booz Allen Chief People Officer Betty Thompson.

With "Make the Connection," Girl Scouts Learn How They Can Change the World
In the fall of 2005, a small group of Booz Allen employees partnered with the Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital to create the Make the Connection (MTC) program, with a mission to mentor and empower girls in the District of Columbia area. Back then, the program’s founders couldn’t have predicted its enormous success. Today, more than 60 Booz Allen mentors connect with more than 400 Girl Scouts annually with the goal of empowering these girls to change the world, and two women who were part of the original MTC program as participants— Emma Glass and Chandler MacLaren— are now Booz Allen employees and volunteer MTC mentors.
