These relationships include both financial and volunteer support. We offer two full days of paid time off for partners to spend volunteering with an approved non-profit organization. In addition to these hours, partners generously gave over 154,000 hours of their personal time to charitable organizations.

T. Rowe Price Associates Assemble More Than 14,000 Care Packages for Service Members Ahead of Veterans Day

Veterans Day is a time to recognize the contributions of military service members, past and present. To celebrate Veterans Day, T. Rowe Price partnered with the United Service Organizations (USO) to bring a touch of home to service members in remote areas around the world. Nearly 1,000 associates across T. Rowe Price’s U.S. offices volunteered to create more than 14,000 care packages for service members.

Port Angeles Safeway Wins Governor’s Award

The Port Angeles Safeway on Lincoln Street was honored as the Governor’s 2017 Medium Private Employer of the Year for its efforts in hiring people with disabilities. The Safeway employs 13 people with developmental disabilities who are supported by community organizations, making up nearly 10 percent of the approximately 160 employees.

Whole Cities Foundation Awards 44 Community First Grants to Increase Healthy Food Access in Local Communities Across the U.S.

Today, Whole Cities Foundation, an independent nonprofit foundation established by Whole Foods Market, announced 44 new Community First Grant recipients. Now in its second year, the Community First Grant Program aims to support partnerships between Whole Foods Market Team Members and locally led, fresh food access projects.

Gilead Sciences Announces 100 Percent Score on Human Rights Campaign 2018 Corporate Equality Index

Gilead Sciences today announced that it has received a top score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees. Organizations that have earned a 100 percent rating on the CEI have satisfied all criteria for that year and are recognized as a "Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.”

Astellas Named a Best Place to Work for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Equality for Fourth Consecutive Year

For the fourth consecutive year, Astellas has achieved a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s (HRC) annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The 2018 CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. Astellas’ efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria again resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
