CSX One of America's Best Employers, According to Forbes

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., April 4, 2016 /3BL Media/ –  For the second year in a row, CSX has been named one of “America’s Best Employers” according to Forbes.  CSX received an overall ranking of 112, and had the fourth highest score in the “Transportation and Logistics” industry.

Forbes ranked companies with more than 5,000 employees to come up with a final list of 500 companies spanning across 25 industries.  The results were determined by an independent survey conducted among 30,000 American employees.

CSX has also been recently recognized as of one FORTUNE’s “World’s Most Admired Companies,” DiversityInc’s “Top 10 Companies for Veterans,” IDG Computerworld’s “100 Best Places to Work in IT,” and a “Best Corporate Citizen” according to Corporate Responsibility Magazine. 

Employees and rankings have recognized CSX for:

  • Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement: CSX prides itself on fostering an inclusive culture where every employee is fully engaged to maximize his or her potential. The company has voluntary Business Resource Groups and Employee Resource Groups that connect individuals with shared interests to apply their perspectives to business imperatives.
