Merck for Mothers

Can you imagine a world where no mother dies giving birth? We can. That's the promise of Merck for Mothers, Merck’s 10-year, $500 million initiative focused on improving the health and well-being of mothers during pregnancy and childbirth.

For more than 125 years, Merck has taken on the most urgent global health challenges, including diabetes, HIV/AIDS and cervical cancer. Maternal mortality is no exception.

Merck for Mothers builds on this legacy by implementing inventive programs, partnerships and solutions to ensure that no woman dies giving life.
