TD Only Canadian Bank listed on the DJSI World Index
For the fourth consecutive year, TD Bank Group was listed in the DJSI World Index. From a global pool of 212 banks, TD was the only Canadian bank to be included in the short list of 28 banks. The DJSI benchmarks the sustainability performance of leading companies based on environmental, social and economic performance.

TD Bank Group Named One of Canada's Greenest Employers Nine Years in a Row
For the ninth year in a row, TD Bank Group was recognized as one of Canada's greenest employers by Canada's Top 100 Employers (Mediacorp Canada Inc). The award evaluates the environmental leadership of organizations based on a variety of factors, including the types of green initiatives that were developed and the degree to which employees get involved in reducing their carbon footprint.

TD Bank Group Wins U.S. Department of Energy's Green Lease Leader Award
On May 15, the Institute for Market Transformation (IMT) and the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Better Buildings Alliance announced the 2017 Green Lease Leaders at the Better Buildings Summit in Washington, D.C. This year’s Green Lease Leader portfolio, which collectively spans almost 200 million square feet of commercial, retail and industrial buildings across North America, recognizes companies who effectively leverage their lease as a smart tool to achieve higher energy and water savings.
