Forbes Names Booz Allen Among Best Employers for New Graduates
With an unemployment rate of under 4 percent and more available jobs than at any time since 2000, top talent in the early stages of their careers have plenty of companies to choose from. In this tight labor market, Booz Allen ranked 36 in a Forbes list of Best Employers for New Graduates—ahead of names like Amazon, Apple, and Nike.
“At Booz Allen, new graduate hires and interns are building high-tech navigation systems for the blind, apps that predict flood levels, diagnostic tools to help communities fight opioid addiction, and more. We know that good ideas can come from anyone—it’s this diversity of thought that we celebrate and encourage in order to drive real innovative solutions for our clients,” said Booz Allen Chief People Officer Betty Thompson.
This is one of many high-profile honors of Forbes for Booz Allen. Others include ranking #21 on Forbes’ inaugural list of Best Employers for Women, and for five consecutive years, Booz Allen among its Best Employers for Veterans.
For Forbes’ new graduates list, market research company Statista surveyed 10,000 Americans with less than 10 years of professional experience working for companies with more than 1,000 employees. Respondents were asked to identify the best employers in terms of working conditions, salary, and growth opportunities and the employers they would be likely to recommend to others.
