In July 2014, more than 1,500 employees from Hanes facilities in Honduras volunteered to clean approximately 5 kilometers of Travesia Beach and plant 300 palm trees in Puerto Cortes. The attendance marks a record in the company’s volunteer program in Honduras.

Plastic, cardboard and other materials were collected and will be recycled or reused by surrounding communities.

Hanes has been operating in Honduras for more than two decades.
