Smithfield Foods EVP of Corporate Affairs & Compliance Keira Lombardo Gives Keynote Speech at STEP Ahead Awards

Keira Lombardo, Smithfield Foods Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Compliance, served as the chair of the Manufacturing Institute’s STEP Ahead Awards. Keira was proud to share her story with the honorees, which included Andrea Tucker, operations manager for Smithfield Foods.

According to the Manufacturing Institute, The STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Ahead Awards recognize women in manufacturing who exemplify leadership within their companies. In addition to honoring the leaders of today, Honorees are tasked with paying it forward and further encouraged to mentor and support the next generation of female talent to pursue manufacturing careers after attending a 2-day professional development program in Washington, D.C.
