AA Advisory Council Member Mr. Robert Herz Appointed to Morgan Stanley Board
(3BL Media) New York - July 3, 2012 - AccountAbility Advisory Council Member Mr. Robert H. Herz has been appointed to Morgan Stanley’s Board of Directors. Effective July 2, Mr. Herz will serve on the board’s Audit Committee.

Mr. Herz served as Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) from July 2002 to September 2010 and was previously a member of the International Accounting Standards Board. Prior to joining the FASB, Mr. Herz was PricewaterhouseCoopers’ North America Theater Leader of Professional, Technical, Risk & Quality and a member of the firm’s Global and U.S. Boards. He also has been a Director of Fannie Mae since June 2011.
Mr. Herz is currently President of Robert H. Herz LLC, providing consulting services on financial reporting and other matters. He is an executive in residence at the Columbia Business School and is on the advisory boards of WebFilings LLC and the Manchester Business School in England. He is also a trustee of the Kessler Foundation and serves on the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and the Accounting Standards Oversight Council of Canada.
