Annually one of network television’s most viewed programs of the summer, the All-Star Game broadcast of the thirty-second version of the Action Team’s newest PSA campaign will help support Major League baseball players and Volunteers of America in their combined efforts to train and inspire the next generation of volunteers through the Action Team.
In addition to the :30 spot, the Action Team created :15 and :60 spots, plus a 4-minute video, titled “Legacy,” which helps illustrate the tremendous impact the program has had on high school students and their communities since debuting in 2003.

About the Action Team
In 2003, the Major League Baseball Players Trust and Volunteers of America created the Action Team national youth volunteer program to recruit and train high school students to become volunteers in their communities. Through this partnership and unique program, Major Leaguers help inspire and encourage high school students to serve as Action Team Captains, who in turn deliver an important message to their peers: volunteering is cool, fun and personally rewarding.
