The Adventure Capitalists Donate to the William James Foundation

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., January 23, 2013 /3BL Media/ - The Adventure Capitalists have made a donation to support up and coming entrepreneurs in the sustainability sector. The William James Foundation's 10th Annual Sustainable Business Plan Competition has kicked off and awards will be given in July 2013.

The William James Foundation exists to educate and support entrepreneurs who are starting or expanding for-profit businesses that have built social and/or environmental values into how they make money. The foundation has three main activities: The Sustainable Business Plan Competition, The Mentor Capital Network, and The Green Grab Event Series.

For the past ten years, the William James Foundation has managed sustainable business plan competitions. They work with their network of mentors and sponsors to provide constructive feedback (an average of 20 pages per plan per round), cash prizes (an average of more than $150,000 per year), and in-kind prizes to the entrepreneurs.
