Arrow Celebrates World Premiere Performance through Support for Colorado Ballet
Arrow Electronics takes pride in advancing frontiers of innovation through its support for arts and culture. On February 23, guests at the Colorado Ballet’s 2017 Firebird Gala in Denver were treated to the world premiere of a new work inspired by Arrow, this year’s Presenting Sponsor.
In a unique collaboration between the Colorado Ballet and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, dancers debuted a routine choreographed by Ballet Mistress Sandra Brown and performed to the Arrow “Five Years Out” overture composed by the Symphony’s former resident conductor Scott O’Neill.
“This collaboration between ballet and symphony reflects something Arrow believes very deeply: That the creative process in the arts, innovation and technology are intrinsically connected. When braided into something new, it not only creates a memorable moment, it compels us to look forward,” said Rich Kylberg, vice president of corporate marketing and communications at Arrow.
